Spring 2008 Catalog Update
A new catalog update is now available online as an Excel spread sheet (135 kb), a pdf file sorted by product number (120 kb), and a pdf file sorted by product name (105 kb). This supersedes any previously available product or price lists. We are working on a new printed catalog but it will likely not be ready until fall 2008.
Restricted Tinctures
Heron Botanicals distributes the largest line of low-dose botanical medicines in North America. Due to the potential harm that can come from improper use of these herbs and the skill required in their appropriate prescription, we limit sale of tinctures of these herbs to highly qualified practitiioners. Before ordering, you must provide us with a copy of any appropriate license, registration or certificate you hold including a copy of any Drug Enforcement Agency registration. Additonally, you must provide a signed waiver and document your training in the use of low-dose or potentially toxic botanicals. Heron Botanicals retains the right to refuse to sell these products to any practitioner it deems to have insufficient training for their proper use. The Best Herbs for the Best Prices
As of October 15, 2007, Heron Botanicals will be increasing prices on its liquid extracts by a small amount. This change supersedes those in our printed catalog or any others. We have found that cost of the high quality, fresh herbs we use for most of our products have been climbing, in addition to higher shipping rates due to the rise in oil prices. We have found it necessary to raise our prices to keep up with these costs. These increases still mean that we are entirely in line with our competitors.
Sale on Eleutherococcus Tincture
We made too much of a new 1:5 tincture of Eleutherococcus, so we're having a sale. Available only in 32 oz size, but at the A price level ($101.12 for 32 oz).
Four Ounce Formulas Discontinued
Effective Oct 22, 2007, we will no longer sell any formula in the 4 oz size as this is simply not cost effective. The minimum size will be 8 oz for formulas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
