Shipping Policy

At Heron Botanicals, we work hard to ship orders as quickly as possible while maintaining our high-quality standards.

  • Shipping Method: Orders are shipped via UPS Ground. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and P.O. Boxes, we use USPS.
  • Processing Time: We typically ship orders within 1 business day, but we do not guarantee shipping times as our small team may experience occasional high order volume.
  • Flat-Rate Shipping:
    • $8.99 flat-rate shipping for orders under $250.
    • Free shipping for orders $250+.
  • Expedited Shipping: Available on a case-by-case basis. If you need expedited shipping, please call us at 360-297-3400 to place your order.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

  • If your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date) at herbsales@heronbotanicals.com. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, if applicable, send a replacement.
  • We cannot be responsible for stolen packages (porch theft). If your tracking information shows the package as delivered but you did not receive it, you will need to contact the shipping carrier or file a claim with UPS or USPS.

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Delivery times vary based on location and carrier processing.


Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

Eligible Returns

  • Unopened and intact products may be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Returns due to our mistake (e.g., incorrect item sent) must be reported within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.

Return Fees & Process

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns that are not due to our error.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our mistake.
  • If the return is due to our error, we will cover all return shipping costs, and no restocking fee will apply.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at herbsales@heronbotanicals.com with your order number, reason for return, and any relevant photos if applicable.
  2. If your return is approved, we will provide you with return instructions.
  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund minus the restocking fee (if applicable).

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive the return.
  • It may take additional time for your bank to process the refund, depending on their policies.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Chargeback Prevention & Dispute Resolution

If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us first at herbsales@heronbotanicals.com so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Chargebacks filed for transactions that comply with our clearly stated return and refund policies may be disputed. We encourage customers to reach out directly before initiating chargebacks to ensure a smooth resolution.
