Client Account Terms
These terms apply when your Heron Botanicals account gives you access, as a client of a healthcare provider or herbalist, to products your provider has recommended.
- How your account works. Your provider tells us which Heron products they recommend for you. We add those products to your account, and you can view and order them from your Provider Recommendations page. Other products in our professional catalog aren't available through your account.
- Who can hold an account. You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A parent or guardian may hold an account for a child and is responsible for orders placed on it and for how the products are used.
- Your provider's role. Your provider chooses the products and gives you any directions for using them. Your Provider Recommendations page may show an amount and how many times per day your provider suggests. These directions come from your provider, not from Heron. Questions about whether a product is right for you, or how to use it, go to your provider. If you ask us, we'll refer you to your provider. To add, change or remove a recommendation, contact your provider.
- Heron's role. We make the products and fill your orders. We don't diagnose, treat or give individual health advice, and we can't change your provider's recommendations or directions. Any directions your provider gives, including amounts and frequency, are theirs alone, whether or not they match the label. Heron's guidance for each product is limited to the suggested use on its label. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- Information we collect and share. To set up your account, your provider gives us your name, your email address, the products they recommend for you and any directions for using them. We don't collect diagnoses, medical history or other health records from you or your provider, and we ask that you not send them to us. We use your information only to run your account and fill your orders. We may let your provider know which recommended products you've ordered. We don't sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Orders and pricing. Products are sold at our suggested retail prices, as shown on our site. Orders are for your personal use. Don't resell products or share account access.
- All sales final. We can't accept returns or exchanges on orders placed through your account. If your order arrives damaged, has a defect, or isn't what you ordered, email herbsales@heronbotanicals.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll replace the item, or refund it if a replacement isn't available. If something is wrong with an order, contact us before disputing the charge with your bank or card company. We may close the account of anyone who disputes a charge without contacting us first.
- Changes to access. Your provider may add, change or remove recommendations. If your provider stops working with us, we may remove your recommendations and will let you know to contact your provider. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
-
Changes and governing law. We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Washington State law governs these terms, with venue in Kitsap County, Washington.
