Pedicularis racemosa, Pedicularis densiflora, and Pedicularis bracteosa are collectively recognized as Pedicularis spp., a group highly regarded as a local alternative to Kava (Piper methysticum). Due to the plant’s unique hemiparasitic nature, large-scale cultivation of Pedicularis remains a challenge, requiring specific host plants and highly specialized growing conditions.
